My name is Ahna, and I am a massage therapist. I am passionate about helping people, and sharing with them new ways to walk through their lives; physically, mentally, emotionally.

My professional journey started as a massage therapist in 1983, graduating from WestWind Massage School in Phoenix, AZ, then hired by my instructor, a certified ©Rolfer. She gave me my first glimpse into the power of the connective tissue to restoring health. I quickly discovered Dr. John Upledger’s work, CranioSacral Therapy, and proceeded to take up through the Advanced Level of CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute, and became a layman teacher of the basic concepts of CranioSacral Therapy for home use.

I am constantly educating myself, and much of what I learn makes its way into my practice. The heart of my therapy centers on the connective tissue, its connection to the nervous system and brain, and working with the fight-or-flight system to help your body balance itself.

Mary began her career in 2008 after experiencing healing in her own physical and emotional life through yoga and massage therapy. She is passionate about guiding her clients through their own healing processes through massage, breathing techniques, energy work and stretching. Mary incorporates many modalities to tailor each massage to the specific needs of her clients. She utilizes her yoga experience and training to guide you through your healing of emotional and physical challenges. Through breathing, stretching, and massage techniques, Mary will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. She has 13 years experience with prenatal massage working at an OBGYN practice, and loves working with expecting moms, and women in all stages of life.

In her personal life, Mary is a wife and mother of 2 young adult children, and 2 dog furbabies. She moved to Arizona from Illinois in 1997 and has found a love for the desert, mountains, and unique wildlife of Arizona. She loves anything outdoors; hiking, running, camping, and exploring, or just playing in her backyard garden.
